GD Goenka University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prenishq, an IIT Delhi spin-off supported by the National Quantum Mission, Government of India.
This collaboration strengthens our focus on future-ready learning by bringing quantum technology into sharper academic and industry alignment. Students will gain access to hands-on training, deeper industry exposure and meaningful knowledge exchange, building capabilities that matter in emerging technology spaces.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Bodhaditya Santra, CEO, Prenishq, and Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Singh Parihar, Pro Vice Chancellor (Administration) and Registrar, GD Goenka University. The initiative was encouraged and endorsed by Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Shenoy, Vice Chancellor, with the support of Prof. (Dr.) K. Thammi Reddy, Dean, School of Engineering & Sciences, and Prof. (Dr.) Anindita Roy Chowdhury, Assistant Dean and Deputy Dean, Academics.
This association reflects a shared intent to build strong academic pathways in frontier technologies and prepare students for what lies ahead.

The School of Management, GD Goenka University, hosted an insightful guest lecture on “Data-Driven Operations for Business Excellence” featuring Prasoon Singh, Director – Business Operation and Management, Capgemini India.
Conducted as an engaging Q&A session, the discussion focused on turning data into business value, bridging the gap between industry and academia, and understanding how strategic KPIs shape stronger decision-making.
Students explored the role of forecasting, operational maturity across descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics, along with the growing relevance of Generative AI as a productivity partner. The session also highlighted the importance of analytical thinking, ownership and being truly company-ready in today’s business landscape.
A valuable exchange of ideas that brought classroom learning closer to real industry expectations.

The Finance Club, School of Management, GD Goenka University, hosted an insightful roundtable discussion titled “FTAs, Conflicts and Capital Flows: Key Challenges and Opportunities for India” at the UID Auditorium.
The session brought together an exceptional panel featuring Dhruv Matta, Partner, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys; Karan Chopra, Partner, BDO India; Gaurav Sharma, Partner, TAG Advisors; and Manoj Kumar Upadhyay, Joint Director, NITI Aayog, Government of India. Led by the student leaders of the Finance Club, the discussion explored the changing global landscape and its impact on India.
From the India–EU FTA and shifting energy flows to the impact of global conflicts on inflation, capital markets and economic growth, the conversation offered students valuable insight into the forces shaping India’s future. The panel also highlighted India’s growing focus on energy self-sufficiency, renewable energy, capital market resilience and strategic global partnerships.
The session concluded with an engaging interaction where students received practical advice on navigating uncertainty, building resilient careers and thinking beyond headlines to understand the larger economic picture.
