Anjan Bhattacharjee, a 14-year-old from Amdohora, has been dancing since the first grade, embracing the art form with a passion that transcends societal expectations. In a community where dance is often seen as an activity for girls, Anjan's parents stand as pillars of support, encouraging him to pursue his love for Rabindranrittya and Ulongini Nritya. Despite facing bullying due to his physique, Anjan's resilience shines through as he continues to prove that dance knows no bounds, and one's talent can overcome any physical challenge. His story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the beauty of following one's passion against all odds.

Annakut is a Hindu festival that celebrates the divine act of Lord Krishna, who lifted the Govardhan Hill to protect the people of Vrindavan from the wrath of Lord Indra, the god of rain. On this day, devotees offer a mountain of food, or annakut, to Lord Krishna as a mark of gratitude and devotion. The food consists of various vegetarian dishes, sweets, fruits, and grains. Annakut is also known as Govardhan Puja and is celebrated on the first lunar day of the bright fortnight of the month of Kartika, on the fourth day of Diwali.

Madan Mohan Puja is a Hindu ritual that is performed after Diwali, the festival of lights. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is also known as Madan Mohan, the one who attracts everyone with his beauty and charm. The puja involves offering flowers, fruits, sweets, and other items to the idol or picture of Krishna, and chanting his names and prayers. The devotees also sing bhajans and kirtans, which are devotional songs that praise Krishna and his pastimes. The purpose of the puja is to express love and gratitude to Krishna, and to seek his blessings for happiness and prosperity.

These photos were taken with a Nikon D5100 camera that I got second hand five years ago. It is not very good in low light situations, so I have to increase the ISO and as a result I have to deal with the noise in the images. I have done my best to overcome this limitation. Please let me know what you think of my photos and if they are good enough.
