Students of MEC Public School along with other Students of various schools in Yelahanka joined the campaign with Citizen's forum , Yelahanka to create an awareness among the commuters about their responsibility of parking in the right way.
Off late ,it has been a nuisance for the pedestrians especially the visually challenged and the elderly people to walk on the footpath due to illegal vehicle parking. The motto was "SAVE THE FOOTPATHS ". The Students stuck the cards on vehicles that were parked illegally with a message to realise their civic responsibility.
An initiative lead by a
retired employee Mr.Padmanabh is an inspiration to the young generation to exercise their responsibilities effectively.
We are proud that our students were a part of this social awareness.

September 16 was designated by the United Nations General Assembly as the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. Assembly activity was conducted by class 9 students to spread awareness about the depletion of Ozone layer and solutions to preserve it.

Our students brought accolades in the competition conducted on the occasion of 61st Life insurance year celebration by the LIC branch of Yelahanka. DHANYATA P J and ANIRUDH G J were the winners in pick and speak and singing competitions respectively. CONGRATULATIONS WINNERS!!!
