The photography club,Arturo organized an exciting competition under ISMP for the Freshers '22 i.e. " THE PHOTOSTORY COMPETITION i.e. series of photographs and arrangements of photos to depict a story"

Students had to form a team of 5 - 12 members. Out of four themes provided to them, teams had to select one theme and depict a unique story through 5-15 photos within two hours of the time limit.

On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on 31st October, Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar in collaboration with ODAC and ISMP organised a 'Unity Run'on 31st October 2022 celebrating the 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)'. The 'Unity Run' is of 4 KMs within the Campus.

October was always the least dependable of months … full of ghosts and shadows.✨

On 30th October ISMP organized a Halloween Night event for the Freshers. Different competitions, treats, DJ Night were arranged and the whole event was full of Hallow's Eve. 🎃💀

Day 2 started with the ISMP and Student council addressal, in which all the General Secretaries and Clubs Representatives gave speech, thoughts, insights about their respective boards and clubs.

Day 1 started with the warden addressal in the respective hostels.
It was taken by Dr. Ravikant in which instructions about hostels, their rules and regulations were discussed.

Followed by that there were two sessions from "Enactus" and "SWE", two independent bodies of IIT Ropar.

Hello Freshers,
ISMP welcomes you all to IIT Ropar. Institute Student Mentor Programme (ISMP) is a program within the IIT Ropar Student Community, with the primary objective of enabling constructive and positive interaction, guidance, and mentorship of junior students by senior students. The vision of the program is "to inculcate the right attitude right from the beginning". The ISMP aims at developing a smooth transition to campus life for every new entrant to an academic program at IIT Ropar.

The day started with the reporting of new students at the senate hall, in which all the registrations were done.
After that our Director of IIT Ropar Dr. Rajeev Ahuja gave a welcoming speech to all the new students during the Institute Orientation.

To know the college life and clear the doubts of freshers we had a small mentor mentee interaction with a huge participation from the students as well as the ISMP Core team.

The day concluded with a small refreshing students activity to ease up and rejuvenate the freshers from all the hurriedness through the registration process.

Huge participation from the was seen. We hope to see this enthusiasm and participation in every event.
