Presenting 'Prèlude' - my debut Piano album!

This album features timeless piano masterpieces spanning Baroque to Impressionism: Bach – Prelude and Fugue in F Minor (WTC I), Beethoven – Sonata in E Major, Op. 14 No. 1, Schubert – Impromptu in G-flat Major, D. 899 No. 3, Debussy – Sarabande (from Pour le Piano), and Brahms – Romance in F Major, Op. 118 No. 5.

A journey through centuries of piano music, this recording celebrates the lyricism, depth, and beauty of the great composers, while marking my own beginnings as a pianist. Perfect for lovers of classical piano, study, focus, or quiet reflection.

Special thanks to my mother, Sudha Rao; my sister, Khyati Bharedwaj and my father, Ananth Rao, for their immense emotional and psychological support during the making of this album.

Hey There People!

Listen to my new song 'The Silk Route Rush' (Instrumental Version) !

This is the instrumental version of the song - without the lead instruments, i.e., Santoor and Piano.

The Silk Route Rush is a jugalbundi (or duet) of the Santoor and the Piano. It is based on Western Harmonic Minor scale, which is similar to the Raga Keeravani and is very popular in the Hindustani and Carnatic musical traditions of India. It is embedded in Teentaal - a 16 beat cycle from the Hindustani musical tradition. Hence, it is a song that fuses genres across the World, such as Indian Classical, Western Classical, Middle Eastern and EDM. This fusion at the core of the song essentially captures the feeling of travelling on and jostling through the bazaars on the Silk Route - an ancient trading route the connected Asia with Europe.

The Silk Route Rush is a transition between Journey, my first album, and my upcoming album - which is a surprise for now!

I would like to thank my mother (Sudha Rao), my sister (Khyati Bharedwaj) and my father (Ananth Rao) for their moral support during the making of this song.
