🎯Chapter 1: Before Cars, There Were Looms (1920s) 🧥. Yes, you read that right. Toyota did not start with cars.

It all began with a man named "Sakichi Toyoda". He was a genius inventor from Japan. He created automatic looms - machines that weave fabric much faster than by hand. His company, Toyoda Automatic Loom Works, became very successful.

So why did they start making cars? Because Sakichi's son, Kiichiro Toyoda, had a big dream. He saw that Western countries like America and Germany were building cars, but Japan was far behind. He told his father, "Let's use our money and skill to build Japanese cars for Japanese people."

Sakichi agreed. Before he died, he gave Kiichiro his blessing and a small amount of startup money. That was the seed of Toyota Motors.

In 1936, Kiichiro and his team built the "Toyota AA". It looked a bit like American cars from that time (like the Chrysler Airflow), but it was designed and built in Japan.

🚗💨 Turbochargers sound scary… but they're actually simple. Let me break down the 4 types so you can understand everything in short.👇

So you keep hearing "turbo this, turbo that" but have no clue what people are talking about? No worries.

Here are the 4 main types of turbochargers in cars.

1. Single-Scroll Turbo (The Basic One)

What it does: All exhaust air goes into one hole. Simple and cheap.

Good for: Normal daily driving. Economy cars. Trucks.

The downside: Takes a second to wake up when you hit the gas (called "turbo lag").

Example: Old Volkswagens, Saabs.

👉 Think of it like a coffee maker – slow but reliable.

2. Twin-Scroll Turbo (The Smarter One) ⚡

What it does: Splits the exhaust air into two paths so it works faster.

Good for: Getting power quickly without waiting.

The upside: Less lag. More fun to drive.
