'Kabhi khud ke aage
Kabhi khud ke peeche chala hoon
Kabhi khud ke liye ladai
To Kabhi khud ke saath lada hoon
Kabhi jeet kar haara
Aur kabhi haar kar jeeta hoon
Ae zindagi, mai kal bhi khada tha
Mai aaj bhi khada hoon.'
I wrote this poem while I was in a metro heading to meet Aman. He's one of the most inspirational people I've met. We spoke about life, business, loss, struggles, and the future. I remember our conversation back in 2021 where he told me about the true meaning of 'friendships', and I have actively practiced some of those principles.
Thanks for taking out the time, brother. So much more to talk about.

Last year, I announced that I’d do a 100-day workout streak.
When I reached 99, I announced that I’ll do a 200-day streak.
When I reached 198, I announced a 250-day streak.
And now that I’m at the 257 mark, I’d like to announce that I’m going to do a 365-day streak.
365 was the goal since Day 1, but I knew that if I didn’t break it in parts, I’d most likely discontinue, just like most of do in long term projects.
I deployed the push and pull strategy of goal setting, where you set short term goals, and surpass them to stay on course for achieving the larger goal.
It’s a strategy which I deploy in the emotional wellbeing and breakthrough coaching sessions with my clients as well.
Am I motivated everyday? No, I just wanna curl up in a blanket sometimes.
Am I going to the gym everyday? No, I go to the gym 4 days a week. Rest 3 days I go for a long walk.
Am I able to stay consistent with my workout routine always? No, flexibility is the key. The days I absolutely don’t want to go to the gym, I workout at home. The goal is to do a workout every day, no matter when, where, and how.
Is is a quick process? No, it’s more mental than physical. But as you get small wins, you’ll push yourself to go for bigger wins.
Motivation doesn’t exist. Discipline and integrity does.
Go do something and get a small win today, it’s a lovely feeling.
