Save this if you’re planning Thailand soon ✈️🌴
Unpopular opinion: Thailand is no longer a super cheap trip
Stays are expensive, island tours cost,
national park fees are high, taxis aren’t cheap
and cafés + experiences add up very quickly.
You can backpack it cheaply but the Thailand you see on Instagram?
That costs.
Still worth every rupee.
Just budget realistically.
Save this for your Thailand planning.
This is Thailand too.
Not loud. Not rushed. Not overcrowded.
If you’re looking for a proper island experience, less crowd, insane snorkelling, crystal-clear emerald water
and views that actually look like this,
Similan Islands is a must.
Just 2 hours from Phuket and honestly,
one of the best island days I’ve had in Thailand.
I booked this experience via Headout. Download the headout app and comment “Thailand” and I’ll send you the booking link 🤍
THAILAND like you have never seen before🇹🇭
I honestly thought Thailand was all about beaches, parties and temples.
But KHAO SOK completely changed that for me.
From limestone cliffs and emerald lakes to rainforest hikes, cave exploration and staying in floating bungalows, this experience felt slow, grounding and very different from the Thailand most people imagine.
I booked this tour via , and what I loved was how seamless everything was from transport, activities and the overall flow of the day. It made exploring a place like Khao Sok feel easy, even when you’re travelling solo.
If you’re looking to see a different side of Thailand, this one’s worth adding to your itinerary📌
Everyone does Phi Phi in Thailand but if you do only ONE island tour, make it this.
I did the usual Phi Phi/island hopping tours too, and they’re nice but this one genuinely stood out for me.
Clear water, calmer beaches, less chaos, and honestly just felt more worth the day.
It didn’t feel rushed or overcrowded, and seeing a sea turtle here was a complete bonus I wasn’t expecting 🐢
If you’re confused between island tours in Thailand and don’t want to do everything, this is the one I’d pick.
💸 Approx cost: ₹10,000 per person
🛥️ Includes transfers + island stops + meals (full day experience)
📍 Phuket
This isn’t about skipping popular places, it’s about choosing the experience that actually stays with you.

Me at 1.42 am planning a trip like my life depends on it🤣
Visa Free Country + Under 75k?
I did this trip across Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi, and this 7-day flow made the most sense in terms of travel time, energy, and costs.
Nothing fancy, no overplanning just a realistic way to move across Malaysia, especially if you’re traveling from India and want a mix of city + nature.
Save this for when you actually start planning ✈️
