Rajinder Singh, District President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Ramban, strongly protests against the decision of the Omar Abdullah Government regarding the sanctioning of National Law University (NLU) in the Jammu Division. He expressed serious concern over the step, stating that it ignores regional balance and the genuine aspirations of the people of Ramban and surrounding areas. He urged the government to ensure fair development and equal opportunities for all regions.

DISHA Meeting: Major Boost to Healthcare, Infrastructure & Tourism
During the recent DISHA meeting Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh highlighted several key developmental initiatives aimed at strengthening healthcare services, infrastructure, and tourism in the district.
A Critical Care Ambulance worth ₹88 lakh has been announced from the MP Fund to enhance emergency medical response across the region. The advanced ambulance facility is expected to significantly improve timely medical assistance, particularly in remote and hilly areas.
Providing an update on infrastructure, it was informed that multiple tunnels along the Ramban–Banihal stretch of the National Highway are nearing completion. These tunnels are set to improve road connectivity, reduce travel time, and ensure safer and smoother transportation for commuters.
In a step toward better disaster preparedness and climate monitoring, three Automated Weather Stations (AWS) have been sanctioned for Banihal, Ramsoo, and Gool under the Ministry of Earth Sciences. The move will strengthen weather forecasting and early warning systems in the region.
Boosting tourism prospects, a Golf Course has been proposed at the scenic tourist destination Sanasar, following the successful establishment of the first-of-its-kind Tulip Garden in the Jammu region.
The announcements reflect a comprehensive push toward development and improved public services in Ramban district.

अभाविप रामबन नगर ने राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर 'स्वामी विवेकानंद एवं भारत के युवा' विषय पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया

अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (अभाविप) रामबन नगर इकाई द्वारा राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन भारतीय विद्या मंदिर, रामबन में किया गया। इस संगोष्ठी का मुख्य विषय 'स्वामी विवेकानंद एवं भारत के युवा' रहा, जिसमें नगर के गणमान्य लोग,कार्यकर्ताओं और विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया।
मुख्य अतिथि श्री अर्थ (जिला प्रचारक, राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ, रामबन) ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानंद जी के विचार युवाओं के लिए ऊर्जा का स्रोत हैं। उन्होंने जोर दिया कि राष्ट्र निर्माण के लिए युवाओं को चरित्रवान और अनुशासित होना अनिवार्य है।
विशिष्ट अतिथि श्री सनक श्रीवत्स (प्रांत मंत्री, अभाविप जम्मू-कश्मीर) ने कहा कि अभाविप सदैव स्वामी विवेकानंद के आदर्शों को धरातल पर उतारने का कार्य करती रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज का युवा ही कल के समृद्ध भारत का आधार है, इसलिए उसे शिक्षा के साथ-साथ संस्कारों को भी आत्मसात करना चाहिए।
