Pottery taught me that not everything in life needs to happen quickly. Some things take time, repetition, patience, collapse, and starting over.
Working with clay slowly changed the way I look at process, perfection, and even myself. It made me softer with failure and more present with growth.

At Studio Toom, each piece begins with an intention
but is shaped just as much by texture, material, and the response of the kiln.
There is always a sense of the outcome…yet much of it is left to fire and surface to unfold in their own way.
