BERUTOX M21 KN GREASE
Berutox M 21 KN is a high-temperature, long-life lubricating grease developed for demanding applications in industries such as steel, textile, and paper. It is formulated with a mineral oil base and thickened with polyurea, resulting in an NLGI grade of 1–2. The grease exhibits excellent consistency across a wide temperature range, maintaining stability from -20°C to 180°C. It offers high corrosion protection, exceptional water resistance, and robust wear protection, making it suitable for components exposed to extreme conditions. Additionally, Berutox M 21 KN demonstrates excellent pumpability and extreme pressure properties, ensuring reliable performance in centralized lubrication systems and under heavy loads.
Typical Applications:
Bearings of guide rollers in continuous casters
Hot slab transportation systems in metallurgical plants
Bearings in annealing and drying furnaces
Slide tracks of travelling grate furnaces and sinter machines
Rotary kilns
Cooling beds
Conveyor systems
Hot air fans
Electric motors
Waste gas fans for aggressive media
Gate valves in bulk material container systems
Textile machines
Rolling and sliding bearings in the dryer section of paper machines
Key Properties:
Base Oil: Mineral oil

SOME KNOWLEDGE ABOUT MECHANICAL ENGINEER & TECHNICIAN
*5S Lean Methodology*
Organize workspaces for efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
What is 5S?
5S is a Japanese lean tool from Toyota: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
It eliminates clutter, boosts productivity, and builds habits.
1-Sort (Seiri): Remove unneeded items; ask "Is it necessary
2-Set in Order (Seiton): Arrange tools for quick access; use labels.
3-Shine (Seiso): Clean daily; inspect for issues 4-Standardize (Seiketsu): Create checklists and rules for consistency.
5-Sustain (Sh*tsuke): Train, audit, and maintain discipline
Benefits of 5S
Reduces search time by 50-70%.
Improves safety and moral.
Foundation for Kaizen.

5S for Safety (Simplified Explanation)
1. Seiri – Sort (Classification and Disposal)
Eliminate items that are not necessary, dispose of scrap, broken tools, and excess materials.
Safety Benefit: Reduces tripping, cutting, and fire hazards.
2. Seiton – Set in Order (Organized Storage)
Designate a fixed location for tools, spare parts, and personal protective equipment with clear markings, adhering to the 'a tool has a home' principle.
Safety Benefit: Facilitates quick retrieval of tools during emergencies and reduces confusion.
3. Seiso – Shine (Cleanliness)
Maintain cleanliness of floors, machines, panels, and eliminate oil leaks; establish a daily cleaning routine.
Safety Benefit: Decreases slips, skids, fires, and machine failures.
4. Seiketsu – Standardize (Standardization)
Implement safety standard operating procedures, color coding, labels, and checklists; ensure consistent adherence to safety rules across all shifts.
Safety Benefit: Minimizes human error.
5. Sh*tsuke – Sustain (Discipline and Continuous Improvement)
Uphold safety discipline through regular audits, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
Safety Benefit: Ensures long-term accident prevention.
