Dohneiiong is a traditional pork dish from Meghalaya,It is a khasi delicacy. It is pork cooked with black sesame seeds. It is an easy, quick recipe which doesn’t require much ingredients nor time to prepare yet turns out flavourful, extremely mouthwatering & delicious. Please do taste... thank you !!

I am taking a break from the usual cuisine. As is the norm....we head to Vietnam :-)
1. Summer Rolls : with Veg, Chicken & Prawn options.

2. Crunchy Vietnamese chicken salad.

3. Noodle soup (Pho), with veg, chicken, prawn, oxtail options.

4. Braised Pork, with Prawns : bold flavours with simple ingredients.

5. Pork chops : marinated in lemon grass, soft, crisp with a citrusy aroma.

6. Caramelized chicken, stewed in coconut water, for a sweet nuttiness.

Please give enough notice, because each of the above dishes needs a ton of fresh greens & herbs.

Couple of days ago we lost a good friend. A person who touched many of us in this group with her presence, humbleness & charisma.

We knew she was struggling for the last one year, so it was good she moved on.

For Mona, me & even our son Kabeer, it was always a joy to cook for her & deliver her requests. Actually Underground kitchen lit up when she requested something, nothing could go wrong on that day & everything we cooked would turn out sublime.

'Will miss you Gina. You will be remembered very fondly especially when I cook stuff you requested me to do. So, you will live everyday with us.

Hope to meet you on the other side.

Until then...
