Most of us must have unconsciously completed the sentence “Have a break, have a KitKat!”
This is the connection and engagement the brand has established and sneaked into our daily vocab.
The award-winning DOOH campaign has gained brand equity and headspace.
Our takeaways from this brand campaign
The word “Break” is cleverly positioned so that we tend to play around with it, look for it, and resonate with it.
The deliberate use of “Have a |” stopped people from actually taking a break, pausing, and connecting with the ad. The ad has no logo or any prominent CTA, all it has is perfectly used brand colors, and a teaser that makes you take a BREAK!
The ideation of the product design also connects deeply with the word break. Anyone who wants to have a KitKat will keep aside whatever they have at hand, use both their hands to break off one part, and eat.
In the hustle-bustle of our daily lives, where we forget to pause, KitKat comes as a savior where it says, breaks are good, just take one now.
The crux of the campaign was to test the market if people would understand and connect with the brand. This award-winning campaign caught immediate attention, people stopped by to take photos and videos, completed the sentence, talked about it and the campaign gained a lot of traction and brand recall.
Going brave and testing the market is the play KitKat did and they got it right.
Let us keep the inspiration on and be brave to build our brand gradually, consciously, and mindfully!

Mindful means being conscious and aware of thoughts, and the surrounding environment of your present being. Branding is the process of giving meaning to the being of your business in the ecosystem.
Mindful branding brings together a company’s state of being aligned to the current state of consumers for the betterment of an individual, community, and society as a whole.
People tend to do business with companies they recognize and resonate with. Mindful branding is being aware and consistent. It comes with a solution-seeking mind-set and makes it easy for people to associate their current state and the possible relief, solution, and growth they will get by adopting the brand.
Brand engagement is one of the classic examples of mindful branding. It takes a lot of thought process, research, and knowing your audience to create an engaging brand.
A brand that is consistent and clear puts the customer at ease, as they know their customers, what to expect every time they experience your brand.
Ultimately mindful branding helps develop a relationship of trust with consumers and build a lasting rapport with your audience.

"What is the ONE THING that I can do such that by doing it everything else will be easier or unnecessary."
A mind-bending statement where it challenged your art of multitasking and getting you to focus on your one Big Question.
As I got an opportunity to take up Edu-slot at BNI Aspire, in the hustle-bustle of life I picked up "THE ONE THING" book which has a Big Focusing question by Jerry Keller and Jay Papason.
Surprisingly simple truths behind extraordinary results are asking the Big Focusing Question and Going Small.
Going small is "ignoring all the things that you could do or doing what you should do" to reach your Big Focusing Question. This drill will lead you to recognizing what is important now for me to achieve or keep me on track to my one big focusing question.
Extraordinary results are directly determined by how you can make your focus and they come with THREE COMMITMENTS:
Follow the path to mastery
Move from E to P - Entrepreneurial to Purposeful - where you break the comfort zone leading to continuous improvements
Live the accountability cycle - if it's to be, it's up to me.
