This week, our teachers and staff across SNEH Community Preschools warmly welcomed parents for the academic year orientation session.
The session provided an overview of the preschool's daily routines, learning approach, syllabus, books, and important school guidelines. It was a valuable opportunity for parents to understand how we work together to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment for young children.
Parents were also introduced to the broader work of SNEH Foundation, including our initiatives in Health and Nutrition, which support the holistic development and well-being of children and families in the community.
We look forward to a meaningful partnership with parents in making this year a happy and enriching learning journey for every child.

🌿🌍 On 5th June 2026, under the Mental Health Project, SNEH Foundation celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a "Nature Art Drawing Competition" for children at Ota Scheme and Gandhinagar.
Children creatively used natural materials such as leaves, grass, stems, and flowers to create beautiful artwork, showcasing their imagination and enthusiasm.
The CLWs also conducted an interactive session highlighting how nature—fresh air, water, trees, grass, and green spaces—helps reduce stress, improve mood, and support mental well-being.
Through this activity, children learned the importance of environmental conservation while understanding the positive connection between nature and mental health.
😊 A healthy environment supports a healthy mind.
A New Academic Year Begins at SNEH Community Preschools!
This week, all our SNEH Community Preschools reopened for the academic year 2026–27, filling our classrooms once again with smiles, laughter, and the cheerful energy of young children.
It was wonderful to welcome back our returning students, who were excited to meet their friends and teachers after the break. At the same time, our newest Nursery children began their preschool journey. With gentle support from our teachers and staff, they are gradually getting comfortable in their new environment and discovering the joy of learning through play.
A special thank you to our dedicated interns, who worked alongside the preschool staff during the reopening week. The reopening day was filled with warm welcomes, happy conversations, and many precious moments that remind us why early childhood education is so important.
Sharing a few glimpses from the reopening day celebrations across our preschool branches. We look forward to a year full of learning, growth, friendships, and joyful experiences for every child.

💙 June is observed as Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. 💙
Many men grow up hearing messages like "Don't cry" and "Be strong," which can make it difficult to express emotions or seek support. This month, let's challenge these stereotypes and encourage healthier conversations around mental well-being.
Men deserve support, understanding, and safe spaces to talk.
✨ Activities SNEH will be conducting this month:
🎬 Screening of a short film on men's mental health
👨👧 Father's Day celebration with fathers from the community
🤝 Father & Son Club activities to strengthen relationships and encourage open communication
Together, let's break the stigma and build a community where every man feels heard, valued, and supported.

World Environment Day
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”
💡 Why it matters:
From the air we breathe to the water we drink, our health is tied to the environment. Climate change and pollution directly impact the most vulnerable communities first.
📍 Local Action:
• Waste Management: Encouraging segregation of dry and wet waste at the household level.
• Urban Greening: Supporting small-scale planting in community spaces.
• Plastic Reduction: Moving away from single-use plastics in our events.
👨👩👧👦 Small Steps, Big Change:
✔ Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Before throwing something away, see if it can be used again.
✔ Save Water: Fix leaks and use only what is necessary.
✔ Plant a Tree: Even a small pot on a balcony contributes to a greener world.
✨ The earth provides enough for every man's needs, but not every man's greed.

World Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated every year on 28th May to raise awareness about the importance of menstrual health and hygiene and to break the stigma, myths, and taboos surrounding menstruation. The day aims to ensure that every girl and woman has access to proper menstrual hygiene products, accurate information, and a safe and supportive environment to manage their periods with dignity and confidence.
On the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, we celebrated the day by distributing menstrual hygiene kits to adolescent girls across the community and conducting an awareness session on menstrual health and hygiene. The kits were thoughtfully assembled by Wipro volunteers, whose support helped us reach and empower the girls effectively.
