Most public health interventions fail not because the science is wrong, but because nobody designed them for the people who actually have to do them and pay for them.

Food fortification is different. A landmark Lancet study published this year (Friesen et al., 2026) confirms it works, it's cost-effective, and the scale of what remains unachieved is enormous.

But knowing it works and knowing how to make it scale are two entirely different things. Two questions determine everything:

Who is actually going to do this at scale?
And who is going to pay for it?

The answer shapes every design decision that follows, and it looks completely different depending on whether the answer is a government, a business, or both.

We've published our perspective on what this means in practice, drawing on our work with 300+ wheat flour millers across India.

We have built the foundations. The next phase is scale, and we are expanding our team to meet it.

We are hiring a Strategic Initiatives (Senior) Manager to work closely with our leadership team on high-priority projects that cut across the whole organisation.

One month, you could be shaping a long-term consumer awareness strategy. The next, you could be coordinating a cross-departmental push into new government partnerships.

This role sits on our Executive team and reports directly to our Chief of Staff. It is a strong fit for a generalist with at least four years of experience who is energised by complex, early-stage challenges and wants their work to contribute to measurable public health impact.
