To embrace the evolving landscape of motorsports and engineering, AIRC 2026 features two primary categories:

IC Kart (Internal Combustion Kart): The classic challenge for students to design and fabricate a high-performance Go-Kart powered by a conventional gasoline engine.

E-Kart (Electric Kart): The future-forward category, challenging students to innovate in electric powertrain design, battery management, and sustainable racing.
