Greetings from Switzerland Tourism!

Indian travellers fully vaccinated with Covishield (i.e., both doses plus 15-day cooling off period post the 2nd dose) can now enter Switzerland for tourism, and not have to undergo many health measures at the time of entry, including quarantine.

As of 4th August 2021, Switzerland has further eased restrictions. Travellers aged 18 and under, travelling with fully vaccinated adults, can enter Switzerland without having to quarantine. However, those aged 16 - 18 years must provide a negative RT-PCR report at the time of boarding and entry.

Please do note:

- At the moment, for Indians, only Covishield is approved in Switzerland.

- Covaxin and Sputnik are still not approved as yet.

- The exemptions to the health-related measures at the border apply for twelve months from the time that the traveller was fully vaccinated.

- Entry restrictions will apply to those who are not fully vaccinated (unvaccinated or partly vaccinated) or have been vaccinated with a vaccine not approved by WHO.
