A reader, a writer, a lover, a rebel, a paradox.

I am lucky to be surrounded by so many kind-hearted, supportive individuals who, since I was 17, have read and provided feedback on my writings, taken my book recommendations to heart, shared anecdotes so my articles could be enriched, filled surveys, supported my research. They have promoted all the projects I so excitedly presented via WhatsApp broadcast messages sent at 3 am, and have provided guidance expecting nothing in return. This includes friends, family, colleagues, mutuals, strangers from social media, people I met while travelling.
A lot has been happening. I never knew we could manage to be so overwhelmed when every day is just the same. I’m going to use this time to share some things that make me happy with people who make me happy.
The Moodletter is a collection of articles, events, films, podcasts, photographs, music and everything else under the sun that strikes a chord with me, delivered to your inbox every Saturday. This is not a commercial project. It is art, literature and culture especially archived for my wonderful community. It is everything that offers me solace, and I’m hoping to provide you an escape too.

Locations from Famous Paintings to Fulfill your Post-lockdown Wanderlust “To live would be a constant continuum of creative action and aesthetic appreciation,” says Irwin Edman in Arts and the Man. This quote has stuck with me in all kinds of times, the thick and the thin. It is a reminder of what actually matters and what I should be working for. Hope doesn’t stop...

Things don't always turn out the way you expect them, no matter how privileged you are. I went here to heal. Or as I like to say, to change my life. My healing is my responsibility and I do my best to shoulder it completely. Change my life, I did, although I don't know how much of it was healing. I think I will always be a little heartbroken after Goa 2019, until I return here for good. If I do, that is. Or maybe it's just withdrawal. Or maybe I'm just always heartbroken? Some people are born with melancholy. Guess we'll know.

Also, major major major NYC missing. When I went to this city, I was determined not to fall in love with her very hard, for my own silly reasons that even I don't understand. But oh who has ever been able to stop themselves? New York City is a treasured name in my list of favourite cities in the world and as long as I love Patti Smith and Barney Stinson and all my heroes who have loved and won and lost here, I will love NYC.

"Pink is my favorite color. I used to say my favorite color was black to be cool, but it is pink—all shades of pink. If I have an accessory, it is probably pink. I read Vogue, and I’m not doing it ironically, though it might seem that way. I once live-tweeted the September issue."
