बचपन की वो छत, जहाँ बारिश की बूँदों की आवाज़ सुनते-सुनते नींद आती थी…
वो रसोई, जहाँ माँ की रोटियों की खुशबू दिन भर घर को महकाती थी…
वो आँगन, जहाँ पापा की हँसी गूँजती थी और भाई-बहनों की लड़ाइयाँ प्यार का दूसरा नाम थीं…

आज सब कुछ पीछे छूट गया है।

क्योंकि एक नया घर बसाने के लिए, एक पुराना घर छोड़ना पड़ा।

क्योंकि वो चाहते हैं कि उनके बच्चों को वही संघर्ष ना करना पड़े।
क्योंकि माँ-बाप के झुर्रियों में आराम लाना है।
क्योंकि एक दिन जब वो खुद परिवार बनाएं,
तो कह सकें —
“तुम्हें छोड़ कर नहीं गया था, तुम्हारे लिए गया था।”

सपनों की एक ईंट ज़रूर जुड़ी है।
पर दीवारों पर आज भी उस पुराने घर की तस्वीरें टंगी हैं।
नया सोफा, नया टीवी, नई ज़िंदगी — पर सुकून वही पुराना ढूँढता है।

घर बसाना आसान नहीं होता।
पर घर छोड़ना उससे भी ज़्यादा मुश्किल होता है।

अगर आप भी कहीं दूर हैं, किसी अपने से बिछड़े हैं,

और एक दिन, जब आप फिर से घर लौटेंगे —
