Induction Melting Furnace Er****on & Commissioning work within 4 days of power shutdown

Day 1
Task 1 - Existing Furnace 1 dismantling - 5 to 6 Hrs.
Task 2 - Core cutting & new bolt civil grouting, Platform cutout & civil grouting of Furnace 1 - 26 Hrs.
Task 3 - Complete crucible ready outside - 2 days
Task 4 - Pipeline from pump house to crucible room with header & manifold - 2 days

Day 2 & 3
Task 1 - New crucible placement and interconnection of cables, bus-bar & hose pipes, etc. - 30 Hrs.
Task 2 - Existing capacitor rack dismantling & placement of new with height adjustment - 24 Hrs.
Task 3 - Hydraulic pipeline work - 5 to 6 Hrs.
Task 4 - Dismantling of Furnace 2 - 5 to 6 Hrs. (Shutdown started)
Task 5 - Core cutting & new bolt civil grouting, Platform cutout & civil grouting of Furnace 2 - 26 Hrs.
Task 6 - Platform fabrication work

Day 4
Task 1 - Water & Hydraulic Pipeline testing - 5 to 6 Hrs.
Task 2 - Bus bar connection with existing Power Supply Unit
Task 3 - Complete testing of Furnace 1
Task 4 - Silica lining of Furnace
Task 5 - Start-up of Furnace 1 (Shutdown completed)

Day 5
Task 1 - New crucible placement and interconnection of cables, bus-bar & hose pipes, etc. - 30 Hrs.
Task 2 - Complete testing of Furnace 2
Task 3 - Silica lining of Furnace
Task 4 - Start-up of Furnace 2

Hurdles:- Running plant, Space constraints, Extra civil work, Core cutting, Some short of er****on materials.

Conclusion:-
Planning & Ex*****on done within the given time frame.
Low impact on monthly production (only 4 days production loss).
