“Scaffolding “ A term with a similar meaning in different contexts like construction, teaching,computing etc. However here I explain it in terms of “teaching”.

Scaffolding is a step by step approach a teacher uses while teaching the child. Instead of teaching all at once and then expecting the child to do it, helping the child at each stage and then withdrawing the support gradually is scaffolding.

This technique is helpful for children who need repeated instructions.
