Purnima Trivedi Kulkarni: Assistant Professor of English at UG and PG level and an English Language Trainer as well as a Soft Skills Trainer has 15 years of teaching experience in the field. She is a Gold medalist in English from RTM, Nagpur University and was awarded an “O” Grade for her erudite M.phil thesis. She has had the privilege of working in esteemed Institutions all over Pune like Fergusson College of Arts, S.P. College, Garware College of Arts, International Centre, University of Pune, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Nowrosjee Wadia College, Abeda Inamdar College and St. Mira’s College for Girls, Pune. She has also been a member of Board of Studies under autonomy for the designing of FYBA, FYB.com and TYBA English Syllabi and compilation of textbooks. She is often invited as a judge for vocal competitions. She has also been the Joint Editor of the College Magazine. She has been a research scholar at residence EFLU (English and Foreign Languages University) and OUCIP (Osmania University Centre for International Programmes, Hyderabad). She has published 4 research papers in International journals, 1 in International Conference proceedings, 2 in national conference proceedings and has contributed a chapter to a book on The Theatre of Mahesh Dattani. Presently she is pursuing her Doctorate in English from SPPU, Pune and has established an English Language and Personality Development Institute of her own called Purnima Kulkarni’s “Discourses”: An English Language Learning Initiative) Presently she is training the Corporates from Triumph Marine Services and Mahindra and Mahindra, Pune. She is also proof reading and editing a novel written by Capt. Ajay Badamikar and working on the research projects of the International Students from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has an undisputed command over the language. Teaching English is her dominant passion, she is extremely passionate about her subject and has profound love and affection for her students.
