Rustic Style Of Interiors

Rustic interior design creates an eclectic look that emphasizes nature: homespun, timeworn, handcrafted, distressed items, constructed of natural materials or finished in a natural hue.

Furniture: Rustic interior design furniture normally consists of wood, reclaimed lumber, and stone. However, bamboo, rattan, sisal, nubby cotton, wool, paper, glass, clay and various types of metal can also be incorporated to embellish the look. Heirlooms, flea market finds, DIY projects, folk art, collections, found items and vintage pieces coexist well in rustic decor, providing contrasting textures, patterns and colors. Metal-worked furniture is another great option to use with this concept.
Structural: The rustic look features wooden beams and columns as well as hardwood or stone flooring. If you don’t have these elements in your home, it is possible to put up faux beams or columns to achieve the look.

Classic Style Of Interiors:

It is a refined style, developed, rich in details, which are found both in the structure of furniture, lighting, etc. as well as in sets, prints. Modern Minimalist Style Of Interiors:

This style is a form of extreme accuracy, nothing is too much, without heavy backgrounds. The emphasis is on simplicity, the colors may be dull or bright, in any case flashy colors. Pieces are either geometric shapes – square, rectangular, round, but the surfaces are clean, no scenery, no details. Minimalist modern style by its name, illustrates the simplified forms.

Petra Blaisse's designs can be described as an amalgamation of nature, culture, sophistication and functionality. In 1987, Blaisse started her career as a freelance designer for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. There she focused mostly on architectural installations and later shifted her focus to landscape design in addition to textiles and interiors. In 1999, Blaisse formed the group "Inside Outside", which is a collaboration between various architects, textile designers and interior designers. Inside Outside are perhaps most famous for their 'Voyeurist Curtains', of which are a futuristic mash up of high fashion, conceptual Art and Princess Leia's bedroom window hanging. Blaisse has been described as a "textile architect" and "one of Europe's most accomplished all-around designers".
