Two days that didn’t just teach frameworks, but redefined how we work.
FLY SMART at Seagull was designed as more than a workshop. It was an intentional pause to realign how we think, create, collaborate, and deliver impact. Led by Sumit Lai Roy, the focus was clear; move from knowing to doing, from theory to instinct.
Across two immersive days, we unpacked what it truly takes to make creative work sell. Not in isolation, but through empathy, clarity, and collective ownership. From sharpening how we document thinking to applying Wings4Profit, Wings4Design, and Wings4Reach in real-time, every moment pushed us to be more structured, more aligned, and more accountable.
What stood out wasn’t just the learning; it was the shift.

Design is often seen as what a space looks like but in reality, its true power lies in how it behaves, how it guides, and how it quietly shapes human experience.
At Cheers to Ideas: Founder Spotlight, we had the privilege of hosting , Founder of .beyond: a visionary who has spent decades reimagining how people navigate and emotionally connect with physical spaces.
With a strong foundation in architecture and a deep understanding of user experience, Baarish Date shared his journey of building one of India’s most distinctive design practices focused on wayfinding and environmental graphic design.
During the session, he unpacked the hidden logic behind navigation systems: where clarity is never accidental, but shaped through strategy, structure, and empathy. Across infrastructure, hospitality, and cultural spaces, his work shows how design can reduce friction, build ease, and guide behavior without demanding attention.
The session went beyond design systems. It was about thinking systems: how environments communicate, how people respond, and how thoughtful design quietly transforms everyday experience.

What if India's greatest branding opportunity has been living in its communities all along?
Over 656 GI-tagged products. Centuries of knowledge, craft and cultural identity. And yet, most of these communities remain invisible to the modern consumer.
Not because they lack value. But because no one has helped them organise and present it.
Community branding, done right, is not about packaging culture for commercial gain. It is about helping communities participate in modern markets on their own terms, with dignity and ownership intact.
Here is what we have learned:
— Organisation must come before visibility
— Authenticity is not a differentiator. It is the product.
— Heritage attracts. Quality sustains.
— The community must be the owner, not the subject.
India has communities that have been living their identity for centuries.
The work now is to help the world see them.
