Disha institute ubalenagar today organized free health check up camp.which included thyroid test and vision screeing camp to support the well being of our community members, the response was overwhelming and all beneficiaries availed free medical checkups and guidance
This this camp was conducted with the support of Rotary Club of Pune Central community Eye Care Centre and Abbott company through the efforts of Dr. Padma Iyer, oni and Nafisa Kakajiwala from rotary club of pune Central.and Pournima Gadiya director disha Institute.
In this camp 237 individuals took the benefit,
80patients were identified with refractive errors, 61 patients were given free reading glasses on spot, 8 patients were reffered for futher for cycloplegic refraction, cataract surgery and refractive surgery.
Thsnks to the team of doctor mohankumar, ankita chetri, smrati saxena, jidnyasa barapatre and Sneha shinde phlebotomist from Abbort company.

Today celebrating National girl child day @ Disha Institute wagholi pune.

Disha Institute, ubalenagar,wagholi in memory of Upendra patel served food to the children from the village on 31 December 2025 this was possible with support from Neena, Nora,Chitrang and Rakhi for this Delicious meal to them thank you so much.
The 31 st party with this most needed group wounderful way to bid good bye and welcome the new year. Working with a noble cause hope to do such work ongoing with support from you all.

The approch was interactive, balance between fun and serious discussion
At this stage they are in adolescencent phase facing identity, peer pressure, academic stress,bodily changes concern about relationships and exposure to social media. This was covered in participatory way.
Thank to the principal A. A. Shinde madam vice principal jadhav madam, priyanka dimle madam to managed the implementation ancoring by more sir and and a very joyful and enthusiatic staff. The the children were very eager to clear their doubts.
Thank to Smita londhe tai who covered the topic bodily changes in them through a beautiful story.
Overall packed session with lot of enthusiasm through participation from students side.

At Disha Institute we have Installation of lord ganesha so that we can provide children, women and community members an opportunity to participate thus todays ganesh arti was done by women.
At Disha we arranged session for the community women Two resource person invited Rohini Sanap-nimbore renowned social worker spoke on womens personality development and second session on Mental health by Smita Londhe psychologist.
Women often face multiple stress factors family responsibilities gender discrimination financial struggle and sometime abuses this makes meant to health in personality development extremely important thus both sessions were arranged by Disha institute at Ubale Nagar wagholi.

A session on safe and unsafe touch was conducted for the children of Shivraj Vidya Mandir Somnath Nagar Wadgaon Sheri.
The session was conducted for the children of 5th to 7th standard girls and boys together, it was a fruitful session as interaction was there, role play and question anwers was included inthe session. The response was very good as the children were actively participating.

Disha institute ubalenagar wagholi On 24th july Health camp was arranged @ from 11 to 3 pm in vadgoansheri at the light house center, the following check up was done.

Thyroid
Eye checkup
And random sugar.100 plus people took advantage of this camp. This camp was arranged through our Dr padma iyer great
