The Press Conference of the PMR Open took place at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana.

The Chairman, MSLTA & Tournament Director, PMR Open, Mr. Prashant Sutar and Hon.Secy, MSLTA & Technical Director, PMR Open, Mr. Sunder Iyer addressed the press giving details about the 1st edition of the tournament.

The Official Tournament Logo was unveiled and Indians Sumit Nagal and Arjun Kadhe were awarded the Wild Card in the singles event.
