He was originally from Ajanta village in Aurangabad district. He and his brother Ramnarayan started 'Mohan Ice Cream' on a very small handcart or pushcart. With great difficulty he brought this business to prominence. The specialty of this ice cream is that it is in the form of 'pot ice cream'.
