Complaining is the brother of blame. It’s an easy excuse to get a little energy while giving away control of our life. It allows us to not be the cause of our creation. It takes us out of self-responsibility.

Do you want to be in charge of your life? Cut out the complaining and look for deeper reasons why things are happening. Seek answers and doors will open.

Why do we stay stuck sometimes, no matter how hard we work? It’s because of the stories we tell ourselves. Something bad happens and we turn it into a story - I’m no good, I’m just not the marrying type, people can’t be trusted. The story we tell becomes the reality we live.

We’re never as bad as the stories we tell ourselves.

Let’s be aware of the stories we tell, especially in those areas in our lives where we don’t see a change, because it’s our context that’s holding us back.

When we let our ego control our thoughts about business, marriage, and our relations with others, a curtain is suspended that conceals the truth from our lives (and the Light from our soul.) Within this cocoon, our ego grows stronger, our true self becomes more concealed, and life gets darker.

This is reactive consciousness. But when we resist our ego, we tear down a curtain and we can see the truth around and inside of us. This is proactive consciousness—we stop our egocentric impulses and unleash the will of our soul. That's when life shines brighter.

Spiritual consciousness asks us to look at illness as either a wake–up call or a cleansing. Either way there is a benefit in it for us if we look for it. It is not an easy shift to make, but once done, it totally changes our experience of the pain—and it becomes an opportunity to gain.

Misdirected life force is the activity in disease process. Disease has no energy save what it borrows from the life of the organism. It is by adjusting the life force that healing must be brought about, and it is the sun as transformer and distributor of primal spiritual energy that must be utilized in this process, for life and the sun are so intimately connected.
