You have to know, and believe that only Allah can provide you with what you seek and can ease for you your difficulties and can save you from whatever situation you are in.

Tawakkul means placing your full trust in Allah and relying on Him to get you through all that is happening and all that you want to achieve. Now listen carefully, "Tawakkul is also about accepting the outcome regardless of how it may turn out to be, and trusting in Allah's plans."
And thus we are reminded in the Qur'an, "And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him" (At-Talaq 65:3) And moreso ,"He will provide him from (sources) he could never imagine".
Having Tawakkul truly relieves a person from having unnecessary worry and anxiety. Ibn Rajab (rahimullah) explained, "The fruit of tawakkul is the acceptance of Allah's decree. Whoever leaves his affairs to Allah and then is accepting of what he is given has truly relied on Allah" (Jami' Al-'Uloom wal-Hikam).

Sadly, today many (through their actions) trust the means more than they trust in Allah. Entrusting one's affairs to Allah, may He be exalted, means relying on Allah regardless of the means or how things may seem.
Importantly, Tawakkul shouldn't be mistaken for giving up efforts and just waiting.. Rather it is striving and taking measures while having the attitude that Allah will take care of your affairs and will help you through your hard times.
A man said: O Messenger of Allah, should I tie up (my camel) and rely on Allah, or should I leave it loose and rely on Him? He, salaAllahu alayhi wasalaam, said: "Tie it up and rely on Allah" (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2517).
Sometimes things may seem really hard, but always remember that Allah knows best and thus put your trust in Him. ".. and put your trust in Allah if you are believers indeed" (Al-Maa'idah 5:23). "Surely, Allah loves those who place their trust in Him" (3:159).
