Birthday ain’t right if I am not trying something new and absolutely loving it!!!

We visited Two Sticks for my birthday dinner and absolutely loved the Chicken Soba Noodles.

The noodles were perfectly cooked - lots of veggies - lots of chicken. Just the way I would prefer them.

The Chicken Wontons were also perfect. Juicy tender chicken meat inside. Perfectly crispy on the outside.

We tried the Fried Icecream- their specialty - and it was all right. Big lump of icecream rolled into a layered ball of dessecated coconut which seemed to be then fried and served.

The Sushis were just ok!!!

An amazing well-rested Tiramisu and flavorful Chicken Katsu Sushi helped us take few steps to Jannat without any elevator!!!

We visited Yakii in Balewadi and tried their food. While most of the dishes could be given a miss, the standout were the Sushi and the Tiramisu.

We tried -
- Raw Papaya Salad
- Green Goddess Prawns
- Chicken dimsums
- Crispy Sichuan Basa
- Chicken Katsu Sushi
- Tiramisu

If you are visiting Yakii, suggest to opt for their Asian food rather than the other options.

Authentic Konkani cuisine in the house !!!

We visited the recently opened branch of the famous Maajghar in Thane to try out especially their seafood

N like Yuvraj singh blasted sixes one after the other in memorable match against Eng , Maajghar did the same to us.

We tried -
1) Prawns Thecha Fry
2) Bombil Fry
3) Stuffed Pomfret Fry
4) Surmai Fry
5) Prawns Masala
6) Chicken Wade
7) Mutton Wade
8) Paneer Bhurji

If you are a Seafood lover and a sucker for Maharashtrian seafood , you need to plan your visit to this place soon.

For my wife’s birthday lunch, we visited the beautifully setup Amazonia(not the forest) in BKC, Mumbai.

There is a genuine attempt to make the place full of colors , shades , lights and greenery which certainly enhances your mood aand appetite(Or may be we were already pretty hungry).

Coming to the food — the soup , sushi n dimsums were on point.

Loved the side chutneys. According to me, the absolute deal breaker and the reason if i were to reorder to revisit this place.

Amazonia has multiple cuisines and we tried to order different dishes from different cuisines to spice things up.

Our heart was stolen by the dessert - Pistachio Tres Leches. 11 on 10 if i were to rate it.

We ordered -
- Chicken Minestrone soup
- Rock shrimp tempura roll
- Chicken Gyoza Nikkei Style
- Pan Grilled Fish(Japanese style)
- Lobster Thermidor(Italian style)
- Pistachio Tres Leches

To be very true, we were full even before the final main course dish arrived which was Lobster Thermidor.
Could not enjoy and feast on it the same way if we were completely hungry.

We had,I believe, the finest ever Bisque soup, at Morgana at Al Masa hotel, Nasr city in Cairo.

The texture, consistency and the taste of the soup was brilliant and the fresh prawns just elevated the overall soup.

Can gulp down another bowl of just the soup.

We also tried their Sayadiyah Tagine - which was basically marinated white skinned fillet with red sauce and Sayadiyah rice . Flavorful and tender. And a lottt of quantity😅.

Our last dish was the Wadi el Nile plate - which was shish fillet fish with rice and grilled veggies.

If you are visiting Egypt and loveeeee seafood, do visit Morgana - just for the Bisque soup 🤭.
