Zoya’s father dropped her at school every day.
Before leaving, he always opened his arms and said,
“Give me a hug!”

But as Zoya grew older, she felt shy.

One morning, she said,
“Dad, please… not in front of everyone.”

Her father smiled softly and drove away.

That evening, Zoya waited for him after school.
But her uncle came instead.

On the way home, he said quietly,
“Your father met with an accident…”

Zoya’s world went silent.

That night, she sat in her room crying and remembered his open arms that morning.

She whispered through tears,
“I should have hugged him one last time…”
