Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension 0.5% w/v is a corticosteroid (steroid) eye drop used to reduce inflammation in the eyes.

Uses

It is commonly prescribed for:
Eye redness and swelling due to allergies
Inflammation after eye surgery (such as cataract surgery)
Allergic conjunctivitis

How it works

Ciprofloxacin eye drops are an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. They work by killing bacteria and preventing them from multiplying.

Common uses

Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) – redness, discharge, and irritation caused by bacteria.

Corneal ulcers – bacterial infections or ulcers on the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye).

Other superficial bacterial eye infections as prescribed by an eye doctor.

Not effective for
Viral eye infections (such as most cases of viral conjunctivitis)
Allergic eye irritation
Fungal eye infections

Common side effects

Mild burning or stinging after putting in the drops

Itching
