Hur was the commander in chief of the army sent by yazeed.When he realised that he was to fight ibn zahra ( son of bibi Fatima) ,Then his conscience awakened and he joined Imam hussain on the day of ashoora.

Hussain ibn ali famously said about hur that:-
“You are indeed Hurr (a free man) in this world and in the Hereafter.” — referring to both his name and his spiritual liberation through repentance and choice.

📍 His shrine is located about 5–7 km west of Karbala, near the main Imam Ḥussain shrine.

Rauza of muhammad ibn muslim ibn aqeel and Ibrahim ibn muslim ibn aqeel.
Both were the childrens of muslim ibn aqeel who were ruthlessly killed by haris at the banks of Euphrate river after they were separated from their father.
