Hadees
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“There was no prophet whom Allah sent to a nation before me, except that he had disciples and companions from his people who followed his way and obeyed his commands. Then, those who came after them were successors who would say what they did not do, and do what they were not commanded.
So whoever strives against them with his hand is a believer, and whoever strives against them with his tongue is a believer, and whoever strives against them with his heart is also a believer. But beyond that, there is not even a mustard seed of faith.”
(Sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, Hadith No. 179)
--------------------------------------
Benefits:
1. Allah never leaves a prophet alone in the world; He appoints helpers and supporters from his followers.
2. In the time of the Prophet or his companions, the religion remains pure from corruption.
3. Condemning un-Islamic and unlawful acts is essential — forbidding evil is part of faith.
4. Speaking, resisting, and writing against falsehood is also jihad.
5. Faith increases and decreases.
6. Whoever does not consider evil as evil is in danger regarding their faith.
7. Allah raises strong individuals for the protection of religion.
8. Salvation lies in following the methodology of the Prophets.
9. The best people are those who accompanied the Prophet with faith — i.e., the Sahabah.
10. The first sign of misguided people is that they are far from the Sunnah.
11. Holding firmly to the Sunnah guarantees guidance and success, and abandoning it leads to misguidance.
12. Forbidding evil must be done to the best of one’s ability.
13. Speeches, sermons, and advice — if done to explain the truth and refute falsehood — are a form of jihad.
14. Refuting falsehood is, in itself, an act of faith.
15. One should be concerned about saving people from misguidance.
