Part 2/2.
Then I started looking for some online courses and found one with the United Nations (UN), . Applied and tried two times but failed again. But this didn't discouraged me, I still wanted to take the last shot and then the third attempt, obviously the last attempt, tried with full control and passed.
Then I joined my Masters in International Studies in 2017 in Symbiosis School of International Studies, Pune. My class fellows would wonder how could a technology guy got into a humanities course.
Still I tried and managed to counter the differences set over me and moved ahead learning the nuances of foreign policy studies, diplomacy, negotiation tactics, and the dynamic nature of the geopolitical economy..
Well I myself introduced the term while I got a chance to intern with The Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, New Delhi, the Ministry of Defence Think Tank. I was there associated with the Strategic Technologies center and worked on several technologies related to defence forces which I cannot disclose due to internal security concerns. But, who knew that after failing a number of times in SSB's, I will be interning under military men, met a lot of Strategic thinkers of the Indian community and government..
Ever since then, my strategies are all mine and I fully own it. Considering myself still an amateur won't hurt because the process is still continuing. Currently, I am working as a senior consultant with the Intellectual's Society For Entrepreneurship and Research Development (ISERDIndia). There are a lot of opportunities outside, you just have to find a connection as I made it through TechNomacy.
Stay motivated people and stay safe, together we have to transform the lives of the marginalized, and our societal growth rests on our innovations and analytical mindset. .
In the end, I would like to quote some self- written lines, "जःर्रे जःर्रे में छुपा है हौसले वालों का जोश, इसी मिट्टी में पैदा होते हैं सर्फरोष".

Part 1/2.
Rohan Malhotra (Senior consultant at ISERD).
My story started some nine thousand six hundred days ago, on March 30, 1994, at Pathankot, Punjab, and then we moved to Jalandhar, Punjab. Imagine me being the first child to my mother and that too born with a major deformity, clubfoot. I know most of you won't be knowing whats this..
Let me take a moment to explain this to you, also known as Congenital Talipes Equinovarus, is a complex, congenital deformity of the foot, if left untreated can limit a person’s mobility by making it difficult and painful to walk. I was having it on my right foot. When I was of just about 7 months, my right foot got operated at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi..
The surgery went for some five to six hours, and I was not allowed to eat anything for the next forty eight to fifty six hours. I owe my life to my parents, had them not taken a bold stance at that moment, I would have never had the ability to walk like a normal child. Well, it's past and until now I always look towards optimism and know that life itself is a challenge..
Talking about the interests and educational background, I always have believed in continuous learning and keep my learning curve cycloidal. I was a bright student until the secondary level (10th standard), was always awarded a merit certificate, and very good in Mathematics, Social Sciences, and English. When in the 11th standard, I opted for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, I went on to live an adventure of technology until I completed my Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh Engineering College in 2016..
I always admired the words, , , but never thought of being a part of it. The journey which started with a tough call, when a potential engineering graduate after failing a number of times, decided to take over the weekend a call for his last (Service Selection Board) SSB for Indian Navy at Selection Center Central in Bhopal on November 2, 2016 (SSB 33, with Chest no. 45) . I tried three times but failed everytime..

Part 2/2 - .
I realised I had turned myself into someone getting my friends’ signatures on an attendance sheet while they were bagging top internships. “The day metamorphosed me”, as I put in my IIM A interview.
But there’s never a wrong time to do the right thing. I felt it was too late to properly justify Physics, but another shot is all I need.
I overturned the next half of my engineering. Everything about my persona had changed. It was the original me. I had found myself. Finally.
My CPI shot up from 6.2 to 8.2. Scored a 99.98%ile in CAT. Bagged a job in the first company that was open for all on Day Zero, EXL Consulting, with 0 preparation.
I joined IIM Lucknow as a fresher with a chip on my shoulder. Never been the one to make the same mistake twice, I made the most of this chance. I graduated with a top standing in acads, a “Day -1” offer having declined another IB role. Cleared 2 levels of CFA. And awaiting the publication of 2 research papers in Finance. “The dream” is still alive – albeit with some tweaks. Learned by numerous hidden failures,

Eshan Bhargava ( RP-SG FMCG, CFA L3, IIM L, IIT ) .
A distinct memory of my childhood is me, 3 years old, standing on the porch, having an epiphany wanting to learn so much that someday I sit and stand among the very best intellectual minds.
I started teaching my elder sister Maths before I even enrolled in school. I used to cry and beg my mother in front of the entire society to send me to school as I wanted to learn. But I was not the minimum age.
She took me to interview with the principal to possibly allow me to just sit in the class. I remember telling him some math tricks after which he immediately enrolled me in the middle of the year.
Books have been my best friend all my life. "People and times will change as you grow old, but these pages, these lessons and characters won't", said my mom.
Struck with a discovery documentary by Michio Kaku, I started learning about cosmos as an 8-year old. When students my age were learning the structure of atom, I was understanding ‘A brief history of time’ by surfing through scientist's notes.
An ardent believer in following my heart's calling, I opted for Physics despite my rank. I made uncountable number of mistakes in IIT, and so my experience there remains bolted up in one word - "lessons".
I found a whole new world in terms of opportunities to explore myself with the avenues that the majestic campus and diverse community provides.
August 13, 2016. I was the internship secretary for the first company to visit the campus-Microsoft. It opened for just the circuit branches. But a moment changed my life that day.

Part 2/2: .
The business End (academics) of my college was trotting along just fine , i scored an honourable 8.1 got placed in seemingly a "DREAM COMPANY" named EXL analytics very early on and everything was taken care of .
I came to the college as a boy and left as a man who had learnt so much and changed so much, even i hadn't imagined seeing this amount of change in myself.
Side note- I was honoured to be presented with the Shree Ranbir Singh Best overall student Award on my convocation- which just meant I was Student of the Year for my batch, another highlight of my life.
After college i joined EXL as a Business Analyst in Sep'18 ,to be honest its a good place to start, i learnt alot about the industry, the tools and also some profession skills and interpersonal skills, i was feeling as if i fould do better and my potential wasnt dome justice there and i decided to move on.
I joned GoDaddy in Dec'19 and i couldn't be happier ,i have grown here alot, i have the freedom to explore my field more and it's very supporting overall environment.
I said i couldn't be happier but i can be and i know that would only be possible if i do something in the field of sports because that's been my drive through out.
So make this a reality i have been preparing for a sports management degree where my knowledge of sports as well as data science and could pe put to use, in a never ending run to be happy if i could be closer to this i would be running a little slower.

Part 1/2 :
Raghav Gupta (Business Analyst at GoDaddy)
I am not someone from an IIT or someone working at The biggest tech companies in the world, what i am though is a standard engineer who didn't want to be an engineer (i dont think anyone wants to be) or to be honest wanted to be nothing that had something remotely to do with Education.
I wanted to be a cricketer ( a dream almost every indian boy has) - wasnt meant to be obviously.
If not a cricketer i always thought i would be doing something related to maths( the only subject i loved) , but as most of engineers chose to be engineers - i was also sort of brainwashed into it.
So the journey began and after what could be the worst years of any teenagers life and another drop year where in I got admission in All boys engineering College ( understood i could do better and moved on) to another engineering college called Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (T.I.E.T) .
From the worst years of my life to arguably the best(till now).
I feel engineering colleges are not just meant to teach you engineering they are meant to let you explore what you want to learn, everyone in an engineering college is primarily an engineer but they are much more than that, some are painter, some are debaters, others are actors ,everyone has their own thing and i had cricket.
Believe me or not the first thing i loved about Thapar was the serene cricket ground we had and the lush cover around it, oh what a sight it was, on the first day of college itself i decided i would play here and i would lead this team hopefully and to this day one of the happiest moments of my life is the one i was selected into the team for the first time in my first year.
The journey began from a wayward bowler to a team player to a aggressive wicket taker to an even more aggressive captain later.
Besides cricket i had the chance to be a part of and to organize a lot cultural and film festivals which were also amazing experiences.

Tushar Kant (Pursuing Btech from IIT Dhanbad, CFA Level 2 Candidate)
So I am currently waiting for the day I start my new journey in one of the Trading companies (Futures First) I was selected back in December last year. Some people may be curious how the journey from an Engineer to a trader begun. What people say “ engineers can be whatever they want if not an engineer” seems funny in starting of your college life but yes its somewhat true. It all started two years ago when scrolling through facebook I saw the news about stock market trends worldwide , people commenting and putting on their views . It somehow intrigued me and next day all I wanted to know was how it all works. So going trough courses on coursera was the first thing I got. Days past and everything started making sense and I somehow got to know about CFA exam , applied for it , and with the help from one of my friends I got an internship in ISB Hyderabad. And in that internship the exposure an engineer got about the finance world changed the direction of my world.
Engineering taught me everything, a story I wanted to share with all of you is of when I was in my first semester . I was just chilling a night before exam that I don’t need grades, CGPA’s doesn’t matter and with every lies we are told in our very first semester . Then I saw some people literally crying over the huge syllabus. I thought I should too at least check how much time I have to study just to get a D (minimum anyone could get). I saw that even a D is not possible in the remaining time . Everything just felt impossible now , I started to think about a backlog or a possible extension I could get. Then one of my friend told me to complete what I can and give it a try . I started it and without even getting a sleep , I just completed 50% of my syllabus and went to write the exam. And yes I passed the exam (fortunately the person sitting behind me was one of my friend and helped me during the exam). Cheating in exam was surely Not a good thing but yes that exam made me believe that you can’t run away from difficult situations and you should at least try.

Nishant Piyush, (pursuing BTech and excellence in digital marketing.) . I am 20 year old pursuing a degree from IP university in Btech and started building my career in digital marketing at the age of 18 years. Coming from a middle-class household, three careers existed, a doctor, an engineer, or a lawyer so I chose the one that reflected my skills at the time. To become an engineer I went to study in Kota, Rajasthan to boost up my mind and help me get better grades to crack JEE Mains with flying colors. And those two years of my life helped me to reach where I am now. I got into IP university and started my dream, or say my family's dream to become an engineer but as soon as I entered college, my whole world changed. Earlier I was confined in an environment in which my parents raised me. Coming from Muzaffarpur, Bihar to an urban city Delhi changed my entire course of life. I met new people here and started living a new life. It started from missing my classes to end up with various backlogs, leaving me with nothing but a ni****ne addiction and worse. But luckily with gods will, I met new people who were very different from my previous group and who were doing so much better in their life.
Their perspective towards life inspired me and made me self analyze my life. I started believing that there is soo much more to life than just this, and there are not only 3 but a million other ways to earn money and achieve excellence, you only need to find your passion.
I developed my interest in digital marketing in the first year itself and started grinding myself into this industry. And after two years I am now renowned as a 'forever student' and 'Youngest Digital Marketer' in various Business magazines. I earned a name for myself. I had my own difficult times. I took a huge fall before I came this high and now I value what I have and will always work harder every day to reach new heights of success.

2/2 :-
Bored? Let’s taste something good! I am a good cook who can prepare delicious dishes like Samose, Litti-Chokha, Chhole Bhature, Kalakand, Paw-Bhaji, Pulav etc etc etc. haha…Don’t water the mouth but I must say, all these taste best in the world :P .
Key point here is, you should be best at your hobbies and I love to cook so keep exploring things always. Gyan ki batein! I also love to write, sing and dance madly. Sometimes madness is good unless it is not going to make anyone else mad at you :D
I think, I should wrap up here with some consolidated GYAAAN!! So, make up your daily routine very positive so that you feel energized always (For me I always wake up before Sunrise and do basic exercises and meditation), keep doing the things what gives you happiness and joy, think for the future but don’t get worried for it. Also, cherish the past memories but never ever get lost into it.
Basically I am trying to say, “Live the present to the fullest and enjoy” Be happy, keep others happy 😊 .a

1/2 :-
Bhaskar Jha (R&D Engineer. at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.)
I have successfully completed the Engineering journey from NIT Silchar. But, if you ask me, “what I love and what I do?” Answer would be quite interesting! Here it is……. I roam and roam a lot! I have travelled throughout India and keeps repeating the places with cooking
stove in my car along with tent on the go.
Have done many adventures like sleeping down the stars, on the top of mountain surrounded by thick forest and rivers. Also, have put tent on beaches and slept enjoying full moon night, while got up by watching beautiful Sunrise! Some feelings, I just can’t frame
or put into words...So, I leave it up-to you for imagination.
These were WOW moments.
Driving and Riding are the two main poles of my energy battery through where I get charged...Literally!
I have driven car by almost 80,000Kms and bike by 30,000Kms throughout India and on very tough, challenging terrains.
Ok! Wait, let me tell you something on my career from where I earn money to do all these things...Fair enough?
Till 10th, I was in Bihar at my hometown & then it started the race for IIT studies. This feel, you all must be getting very correctly as what does it mean to be engineers! LOL. So, finally after anyhow, I got
Mechanical Engineering at NIT Silchar, no doubt it was wonderful college with awesome journey. I was ok at studies, not very studious and used to score 7.5-8.0 CPI. It always went like this but apart from studies, I did fantastic job at other areas. Served as Literary Secretary for one year for College Union Body and finally won the topmost post: Vice-President in the Final year! It gave me enormous learning and knowledge enriching experience to battle real life situations too.
I got many chances to groom my
personality and never did I miss any chance to do it; as I strongly believe that your personality and behavioral skills matter the most!
