🏛️ Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Architecture

📍 Venue: Institute of Architecture, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University

The one-day workshop focused on the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Architecture” and was led by expert Shri Preyan Mehta, who guided students and highlighted the significance of technology in today’s era.

The event saw active participation from the Head of the Architecture Department, Arch. Meera Chatwani, faculty members, and a large number of students, making it a successful and enlightening experience.

Topic: Energy and Environment Conservation Awareness

The seminar was presided over by the university's Vice-Chancellor, Shri Kishorbhai C. Poria, who emphasized the importance of environmental awareness among students. Expert speakers included Shri Jigneshbhai Soni (Adarsh Vidyalaya, Kadi), Shri C.N. Desai (K.D. Polytechnic College), and Shri J.P. Fudani.

Leading edge exhibition : 'Honoring the Past building the future' conducted by students of 5th year of institute of architecture, patan showcasing innovative and architecture designs

Includes three topics :

3. Heritage documentation

A unique workshop “Mata ni Pachedi” had been concluded. Many Local and renowned newspapers and TV news channels covered the workshop.

The first day of the workshop series began with so much excitement. The workshop on Gujarat’s famous art form “Mata ni Pachedi” is a unique and culturally significant art form that reflects Gujarat's religious and artistic traditions. It has gained recognition and appreciation not only for its aesthetic beauty but also for its role in preserving and promoting the region's cultural heritage. Shilp Guru Shree Kiranbhai Chitara and his son Shree Om Chitara conducted the workshop.

In collaboration with Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited, Institute of Architecture has organized two days' workshop under the “Artistic Heritage of Gujarat”. Workshop on Gujarat’s famous Art form “Mata ni Pachedi” on 29.09.2023 and Idar’s Art Form “Kharadi Wooden Toys” on 30.09.2023.
