We should keep in mind while use of concrete grade to maintain strength of RCC ✍️

1. Proper water cement ratio
2. Proper mix design as per Ratio
3. Vi****or use
4. Curing
5. Reinforcement detail with Adiquate spacing. πŸ’―πŸš§

✍️There are 9 Type of concrete that are used in Construction industry. These are following .πŸ—
1. PCC - concrete without steel reinforcement uses in Flooring base and Below the foundation. πŸ’―

2. RCC (Reinforced cement concrete )- concrete with steel reinforcement bars uses in beam column Slab footings. πŸ’―

3. PSC ( pre stressed concrete)- in which steel tendons are tensiond before and after the concrete. Uses in long span Bridges and heavy structures. πŸ’―

4. Precast concrete - concrete members are casted in factory or yard then transported to site. Uses in boundry walls drain covers and panels.πŸ’―

5. RMC - ready mix concrete uses in residential building. High Rise structures and commercial projects. πŸ’―

6. HSC- High strength concrete. - concrete having higher compressive strength uses in high rise building Bridges and heavy structures. πŸ’―

7. SCC - self compacting concrete - concrete that flows and compacts without vibration. Uses in congested reinforcement areas. Complex formwork . πŸ’―

8. FRC- Fibre reinforced concrete - concrete mixed with fibres like steel Glass or polypropylene. Uses in industrial floors, Pavements and crack resistance works . πŸ’―

9. Air entrained concrete- concrete containing tiny air bubbles. It is Used in cold weather reagion. 🚧

Types of cracks in Building and where it's developd ?πŸ—

πŸ‘‡1. Structural cracks - ( In beams ,columns & Slab)it develops due to foundation settlement poor design or insufficient reinforcement, Overloading, Extra floors Poor water cement ratio

πŸ‘‡2. Non structural cracks ( in wall plaster & Near doors windows )
. It develops due to shrinkage of plaster
. Temperature changes ( Expansion or contraction)
. Poor curing or Low quality materials.

πŸ‘‡3. Moisture & Dampness cracks
. Mainly developd in roof and walls due to Leakage from roof bathroom or pipes
. Poor waterproofing
. Seepage from ground
. It Looks as paint peeling fungus, salt deposits

4. Foundation settlement or movement
. It is due to Expansive soil ( clay swelling or shrinking )
. Poor compaction
. Water changes in soil
. It Looks as cracks wider at top or bottom, big cracks in Brick walls.
