Strawberry season is here.... the most awaited season for a baker... cos what fruit makes more drool-worthy gorgeous desserts??? Here are some strawberry cream cakes, with strawberries both inside and out!

These cakes use only fresh dairy cream... none of the hydrogenated vegetable fat non dairy cream... and the connoisseurs in you WILL be able to taste the difference!!!!

Our home baked Christmas Cake is special.....

real fruit - apricot, cherry, cranberry, currants, dates, figs, sultanas and plums...
soaked in fine dark rum - Bacardi Carta Negra this year...
with toasted walnuts and homemade orange marmalade....
brought together with real butter, molasses and ground spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
This is an adult pleasure for the fine palate....

This Victoria Sponge cake filled with orange marmalade and dusted with sugar was a classic counterpoint to the rich and fruity Christmas cakes that went before....

Christmas is in the air! At Just Cake it means soaking the fruit, nuts and peel for the traditional Christmas cake....

We use cranberries, currants, cherries, dates and raisins for fruit; walnuts and almonds for nuts and homemade chinese orange marmalade for the peel... all soaked in Old Monk Gold Reserve dark rum to bring out the flavours!!!

The cake comes in three sizes -
5 inch round ~ 0.5 kg - Rs 1000
8x4 inch loaf ~ 1 kg - Rs 1800
8 inch round ~ 1.5 kg - Rs 2600
