40 degrees, Jantar Mantar, and absolutely no shortage of energy.

I reached the Cockroach Janta Party protest when the media outnumbered protesters. Within hours, the place was packed with students, activists, citizens, masks, costumes, placards, and slogans of ā€œJai Bhimā€, ā€œBharat Mata Ki Jaiā€ and ā€œGodi media chor haiā€.

The police asked people not to climb walls and trees. Delhi, naturally, improvised.

Abhijit Dipke was mobbed from the moment he arrived, so that exclusive didn’t happen. But we did ask CJP leaders some actual questions.

PS: The water tanker was emptied in 10 minutes. Kulfi waale bhaiyas saved the day.
