But I admit, some book sales n royalties do help to keep the fire burning !!

I agree with this sentiment.

A Book means everything to the author. He doesn’t care fr the Royalties as much as he cares for
the reviews and the love his book gets. He waits anxiously, patiently and keeps fingers crossed.
