This was not just a newspaper but a revolution. But for some reasons we had to stop the publication in the year 1993. But now we again proudly present the newspaper for the people. The newspaper has not changed its genre and it is again there with all the similar questions which we had 23 years ago. India has changed a lot since that time and the communications revolution has taken television and
internet even at the doorsteps of Indian villages. But inspite of all this, the problems of the Indian society have remained more or less same. Indian politics has remained the same all over this period-same old corruption hogs public limelight. We are standing on the brink even today as then. Given the context a pertinent question arises as to why again should we come up with the newspaper again and what will be the relevance of the newspaper. As said earlier we are again infront of the people to become their voice, to voice their concerns, to address the basic contradictions that have come to be between the political classes and the common populace, as the problems have remained the same as then. Our honest effort in naming our newspaper is that we should become a part of the happiness and grief of those who have been deprived and marginalized by the government and the elite. We are not the supporters of artificial divisions of the world. Neither do we want to establish a parallel world order. We want to be the supporter of the deprived, exploited and marginalized whose voice has been stifled. These very people are the protagonists of our Chauthi Duniya. We will try our best that the one who is fighting for his rights can feel his importance in our newspaper, can relate to our newspaper and can consider us as a trustworthy companion. This is what we think to be the true essence of serious and credible journalism.
