अत्यंत दुःखद एवं हृदयविदारक समाचार है कि बिहार के जाने-माने पटना उच्च न्यायालय के वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता आदरणीय श्री अजय कुमार ठाकुर जी के सुपुत्र ऋतिक ठाकुर तथा उनकी पत्नी वैष्णवी ठाकुर का एक सड़क दुर्घटना में असामयिक निधन हो गया।
यह अत्यंत पीड़ादायक घटना पूरे परिवार, सगे-संबंधियों एवं परिचितों को गहरे शोक में डुबो देने वाली है। दो अनमोल जीवनों तथा विधि क्षेत्र के दो प्रतिभाशाली अधिवक्ताओं का इस प्रकार असमय चले जाना बिहार बार काउंसिल एवं समूचे विधि समुदाय के लिए अत्यंत स्तब्धकारी और दुःखद है। इस असहनीय क्षति ने पूरे विधि जगत को गहरे शोक में डाल दिया है।
मेरी हार्दिक संवेदनाएँ आदरणीय अधिवक्ता श्री अजय कुमार ठाकुर जी के परिवार तथा उनके सभी प्रियजनों के साथ हैं। इस अकल्पनीय पीड़ा की घड़ी में मैं ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि वे उन्हें इस गहन दुःख को सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।

What is the Abetment of su***de?

Under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, a person abetting the su***de of another person’s shall be punished by imprisonment for up to 10 years and also fines. Abetting a su***de is a non-bailable charge.

A person is guilty of abetment when:

1) He instigates someone to commit su***de (or)
2) He is part of a conspiracy to make a person commit su***de (or)
3) He intentionally helps the victim to commit su***de by doing an act or by not doing something that he was bound to do

Under Section 305 of IPC, if anyone under the age of 18, any insane person, any delirious person, any idiot, or any person in a state of intoxication commits su***de, whoever abets the commission of such su***de, shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life, or imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
