Interviews can be a faux pass for hiring managers, if they are conducted unprofessionally. I have experienced many Managers, Business Owners asking questions to applicants which can serve very little purpose. Hiring managers are not trained to get the best out of candidates during interviews. As a result many times organizations lose a good candidate and often end up burning a hole in company's budget.
Currently the hiring scenario is not very optimistic. Hiring managers should utilize their time to upgrade their knowledge in this field. This will empower them to make scientific selections instead of gut based selection.
