Nature in Progress: My 3ft Dirted Escape

20 days in and this 3-ft experimental dirted tank is already hitting its stride! This setup is all about pushing the boundaries of simplicity: no high-end canisters or pressurized gas here—just a raw dirt bed, an internal filter, and the simple DIY CO2 and 3 no of bluepet 16 watt wrgb (comparatively cheap)
Testing the limits of a natural ecosystem with a little home-brewed carbon boost. So far, the melt is over and the new growth is taking over. Science is messy, but the view is getting pretty clear.
The Setup Specs
Age: 20 Days
Substrate: Dirted base (organic compost+garden soil)
Carbon: DIY CO2 injection
Filtration: Single internal powerhead filter which act as CO2 diffuser too
Goal: Observing plant vitality and algae management in a budget-conscious, high-growth environment.

At the very bottom of the photograph, outside the bowl, are two small trinkets: a miniature, green and yellow house on the left, and a green dino with a red fin on its back to the right. The entire bowl is resting on a dark mat, and a sliver of the wooden surface it is placed on is also visible....,...
