Department of Emergency Medicine, JSS Hospital, Mysuru along with Hospital ambulance actively participated in this “Partial Emergency Mock Exercise’ conducted at Mysuru airport and strengthened its crisis management capabilities
A ‘Partial Emergency Mock Exercise’ was conducted at Mysuru airport on Tuesday ie 23rd June 2026 to enhance its emergency response capabilities.
The exercise was designed to address and rectify the deficiencies identified during the previous “Full-Scale Emergency Exercise’ while providing practical training to stakeholders and responding agencies.
JSS Hospital, Mysuru participation was highly appreciated by the Mysuru Airport Authorities and contributed significantly to the success of the exercise.

The program was presided over by Dr. Madhu C P, Director, JSS Hospital, in the presence of Dr. Sumana M N, Deputy Director, JSS Hospital, Dr. Kishor M, Professor & Head, Department of Psychiatry, Mr Mahadevswamy, Nursing Supervisor, and Kusumavathi D A, In-charge Nurse, Psychiatry Ward.

JSS Hospital, Mysuru, observed International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm on Sunday, June 21, 2026 @ SRC Auditorium, 3rd Floor, JSS Hospital.
Dr.CP Madhu, Director, JSS Hospital, Mysore participated in the program .
The celebration focused on the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," emphasizes how daily practice builds holistic physical and mental well-being across all stages of life.
The program included Yoga Practice, Pranayama, and Meditation, led by trained instructors from Dept of Yoga , JSS AHER.

The Department of General Medicine, in association with the Department of Critical Care Medicine, JSS Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru, organized a guest lecture on “Fluid Management in Critically Ill Patients” on June 19, 2026.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Banani Poddar, Professor and Head, Department of Critical Care Medicine, SGPGI, Lucknow. She highlighted recent advances and best practices in fluid management for critically ill patients, emphasizing evidence-based approaches to improve patient outcomes.
Faculty members, postgraduate students, interns, and healthcare professionals attended the session and actively participated in the discussion.
