Interdisciplinary FDP on AI-Enhanced Teaching

SDMIMD Mysuru, conducted a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Blending Minds and Machines: AI Strategies for Effective Classroom Delivery and Case Facilitation”.

The FDP brought together over 20+ faculty members from diverse disciplines including Management, Medical Sciences, Engineering, Basic Sciences, and Social Sciences. The programme focused on practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in classroom delivery, case writing, and case facilitation to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Sunil M.V., Faculty – Systems and General Management, and Dr. Mamta Hegde, Faculty – OB and HR, who shared practical frameworks, tools, and strategies for integrating AI into contemporary teaching practices.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation, rich interdisciplinary discussions, and received highly positive feedback from participants, reaffirming SDMIMD’s commitment to promoting pedagogical innovation and responsible AI adoption in higher education.

Where Memories Reunited and New Bonds Began: SDMIMD Alumni Reunion 2026

Watching alumni from the batches of 1996–2004 return to campus was a powerful reminder that while years may pass, the SDMIMD spirit remains timeless.

The campus once again echoed with stories, laughter, and cherished memories as old roommates reunited, friendships rekindled, and conversations resumed as though no time had passed. Every corner seemed to come alive with nostalgia and shared experiences.
