We just completed the most remarkable Herat to Mazar-i-Sharif road trip via Maymana! 🇦🇫

We are proud to be the first Indians to take this route on our road trip across Afghanistan. Except for the locals, hardly anyone travels through this region. Even people from other provinces prefer to either fly or take the road via Kabul.

Our tour guide was also experiencing this route for the very first time! The journey isn’t risky, but it’s extremely exhausting — over 12 hours of pure off-roading. We had to push our car several times with the help of local villagers, and even had a tyre puncture along the way. But the adventure was absolutely thrilling!

Today marks our 8th day in Afghanistan, and we continue to experience the same love and warmth from the Afghan people. They are not only incredibly hospitable but also very sporty and humorous.

In Ghazni, during a conversation about India’s perspective on history, our guide shared an interesting point — Afghans don’t glorify invaders like Ghori or Ghaznavi the way Pakistan does. They understand that these rulers had no roots in Afghanistan and came from other regions. It was truly enlightening to hear that.

On the Way For Mazar i Sharif....!!

We visited the Gurudwara when we were at Kabul and discussed lots of things about the Sikh community in Kabul. as of now there are only 20 Sikh people are staying in entire Afghanistan, they are hopeful of getting things normal..They kindly allowed us to visit inside and take photos. We came to know various things about them and will make a video about it later....

Today we explored Kandahar city. This city has vast roads and amazing houses. Kandahar has the amazing vibes not only in terms of historic connections but also has amazing fruits/foods and hospitality. People here are welcoming and have tremendous respect for Indians.…!
