Sonä is a boutique brand transforming textiles into wearable art, celebrating the artistry of
handwoven drapes, crafted in collaboration with skilled artisans. Embracing sustainable
practices, each stole is meticulously created using organic silks and natural dyes,
blending traditional techniques with contemporary, minimalist designs. This harmony of element and effort forms the essence of Sonä: the meeting point of sophistication and nature.

For the longest time, Sonä remained intentionally quiet about the people behind it.
This felt like the right moment to share a small glimpse into the conversations, influences, materials, travels, and creative practices that continue to shape our work.
What began through different practices gradually found a shared language — one that continues to move between textile, garment, and art.

Crafted in pure Ladakhi Pashmina wool, Drape XIII unfolds through fine lines set against a softly graded greige — tones that shift gently as the fabric moves, gathers, and settles on the body.
Seen here with Joshna, whose effortless way of wearing it brings the piece into its own
Designed as a drape, it adapts with the wearer — changing in form with every fold and every way it is worn.
Handwoven with intention, each piece at Sonä is made to be lived with over time.

Rhythm is the continuity that carries making from one moment to the next. It lives in repetition, in breath, in the subtle pulse between hand and thread, where effort softens and flow takes over, unforced.

Drape XIII is shaped by quiet transitions.
Fine lines move across a softly graded greige ground — subtle shifts of tone that reveal themselves slowly, as the fabric is gathered, released, and worn. Designed as a drape, it is meant to become the centre of the garment.
Not an addition, but a presence — responding to the body, changing with every way it is worn.
Handwoven with intention, to be lived with over time.
