A balanced meal is one that includes foods from the five food groups: carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables for Vitamins & minerals, protein, and healthy fats.
Attempt should be made to include a balanced meal at least 2-3 times a day.
Avoid skipping your meals or any one food group, as that may lead to deficiency disorders.
