Keeda hai?

Irrespective of your favourite team winning or losing this FIFA season, there's a celebration you wouldn't wanna miss! As we near the end of the World Cup tournament, Ri Bhoi has already geared up for a unique World Cup experience, the appearance of the Niangtaser. This one of it's kind insect, Niangtaser, emerges from its cocoon once after every four years, has a festival named after interestingly enough, its appearance coincides with the FIFA World Cup WC.

The event organised by Ri Bhoi Tourism and Meghalaya Tourism is an absolute blast with fun events like hunting, fishing competitions, bonfires, traditional food, local rice beer, traditional music & dance, fancy dress competitions and camping. People celebrate the life of the Niangtaser and the spirit of football!

For all the nature lovers out there, here is a teaser of this awesome upcoming short film. Be a part of it and support nature and this great initiative.
